Dog Spotted presents National Therapy Animal Day with the New York Therapy Animal Organization
Join Dog Spotted, Friday, April 30th from 7pm - 8pm EST, for National Therapy Animal Day to meet with the New York Therapy Animals Program.
There will be a Q&A for the second half of the event so you can have all your questions answered about what it takes to have your dog become a therapy dog.
Plus, some special guests and give away prizes!
Puppy Kindergarten - School for the Dogs
WEEKLY CLASSES STARTING APRIL 29th - JUNE 29th
Puppy Kindergarten is a six-week group class that covers important foundation behaviors and puppy topics including socialization, grooming and house-training. Prerequisite required: Puppy: First Session (1.5 hours) $300 or Video First Session (1.5 hrs) $270
For puppies 8-20 weeks of age. Puppies must be no older than 16 weeks at start date of first class

Prep School - School for the Dogs

PAWS NY - Volunteer Orientation February 3rd 2021
This session will be offered as a virtual training. Although many of our volunteer services are currently suspended, it is vital that we onboard as many volunteers as possible now to service what we expect to be a growing number of people who need our help in the future.
Pets Are Wonderful Support (PAWS NY) is a grassroots, volunteer-driven organization. If you enjoy spending time with both people and pets, we offer wonderful opportunities for our volunteers (18 years old+)* to provide direct services to our clients, mainly through our Housecall Program. Volunteers help walk dogs, clean the litter box, transport to the vet, and other daily tasks our clients are struggling to do on their own. Volunteers are asked to make the following minimum commitment: at least one visit per week for at least 6 months.
In order to begin providing services, all volunteers are required to attend an orientation. You will learn more about PAWS NY and the services you will ultimately provide to our clients, so please sign up today. We hope you will join us!
